Op woensdag 20 september om 20u bespreken we de roman ‘The Ministry For The Future’ van Kim Stanley Robinson. Het boek telt 576 pg’s. Het boek is nog niet vertaald in het Nederlands (en werd verkozen door Barack Obama als één van zijn topboeken uit 2020).

De auteur Kim Stanley Robinson doceerde aan verschillende universiteiten en wijdde zich vanaf 1988 geheel aan het schrijverswerk. Het lukte Robinson in zijn werken steeds beter een humanistische invalshoek te combineren met harde Science-Fiction-elementen. Vrijwel alle romans hebben een ecologische component; duurzaamheid is een van zijn primaire thema’s.
